What makes HST 85 lift & slide different
Panoramic views
HST sliding doors are the only window structures that allow the creation of large-scale glazing, providing an exceptional view of the space around the house. The width of the sash can be between 800 mm and 3000 mm wide and the height can be up to 2700 mm in white, which allows to create even more than six meters of glazing.
Barrier-free home
HST doors are a modern and safe solution, designed to eliminate unnecessary barriers. The low door threshold with a height of 48 mm, which can be recessed from the side of the room in its entire height, meets the requirements for architectural barrier-free construction and allows trouble-free entry and exit. Thanks to this solution, it is also possible to level the threshold with the floor surface and thus completely eliminate threshold barriers.
HST 85 mm Fixframe – even more light
The HST 85 fixframe with a very narrow frame in the fixed-glazed part is the fulfillment of the postulate to maximize glazed areas, increase the amount of light entering the rooms and effectively use thermal energy from the sun. A particularly narrow profile in fixed glazing provides even greater light penetration into the living space – for high quality of life and additional solar heat gain!
Functionality and comfort of use
Special hardware mechanisms allow huge sashes to be moved with minimal force. Turning the large handle downward from the closed position raises the sash by a few millimeters, releasing the pressure of the seals and allowing the sashes to move freely, moving relative to each other or to the unopened parts of the structure without the slightest resistance.
Multiple opening options
HST 85 mm lift-and-slide doors can come in at least several different versions and arrangements of sashes and non-opening parts. The most popular HST door schemes are 2-quadrant variants – with one or both movable sashes – or 4-lite variants – with two middle or all movable sashes.
Harmony of space
HST doors are an excellent alternative in terms of space arrangement to classic balcony doors, which enter deeply into the living space when the wings are opened. Despite a greater installation depth than classic balcony doors, it is the HST doors that leave more freedom in the design of space.
